We have enjoyed our little break for Thanksgiving but...we are getting ready for the next 3 weeks of Christmas fun!! We are super excited to use a couple new packs that we created!

FREEBIE Friday!!!

Hey Friends...are you surviving??? We are barely hanging on around here!! Not only are we a few days away from a break but, it has been raining and nasty for the past several days so...inside recess!! Every teachers worst fear!:( 3 more school days till a little break...it is much NEEDED!! 

Anyways...it's Friday so that means FREEBIE time!! We are so excited about 3 new packs that we have posted! We thought we would give you a little peak at our Polar Express pack!! We are giving you a story puzzle. After you read the story...really it could be any story, the kids work in small groups to retell the story using, characters, setting, problem, solution, beginning, middle and end. After they have worked to illustrate or write about their part, they put the piece back into the puzzle! After everyone has shared....you will have the whole puzzle and the whole story! We LOVE this idea! Not only does it promote cooperative learning, but it gets them thinking about the whole story!! We hope you enjoy this freebie! Turkey Trouble and Lesson Plans!!

Hey friends...WOW what a week! Talk about turkeys...my little friends were acting like wild little turkeys this week!! I think we can survive till Thanksgiving break...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!!! 

In the midst of all the craziness that was last week, we still managed to start thinking about Thanksgiving! We read Turkey Trouble...we loved this book! While I was out blog hopping this week, I came across a cute idea to go along with this book from A Place Called Kindergarten. I thought they were so cute...we had to do it!! I absolutely love how they turned out! Now...I knew there might be some panic when I said "we are going to draw a turkey" so...what a perfect time for a guided drawing! Most of the time we are so busy trying to get it all in that we don't take the time for this. Let me say....it was great! Not only were they all engaged, but they also were so darn proud of how wonderful their little turkeys turned out!!

I especially love the "eat salad" picture...how cute is that!!!

Moving on...so our school has purchased an I-Pad Cart. It holds 25 I-Pads and we will be taking turns utilizing it between all the classes. Of course, we would all love to have all 25 all day long, but for now we are just excited for the time we will have with them! So...our question...are there any wonderful aps that you love and recommend? 

We can't wait to use this!!!

This week begins our practice for our Thanksgiving Play! Every year we wonder why in the world are we doing this to ourselves...in the end they always end up being the cutest little pilgrims and indians. The kids always have so much fun, not to mention how much the parents love watching their little ones in a play!! Wish us luck!!

So we just have to share this cute little video we found from Harry Kindergarten on YouTube!! We love it and the kids... even if they don't understand the whole concept now, to hear them sing it with the "twang" is priceless!!

We have been busy, busy, busy!! We just want to share a few new products that we have added and are so excited about!!

We are all set for Christmas! Now...to just make it to Thanksgiving!:)

Happy Sunday Friends!! We are so excited about some new products that we have just about finished!!! Gobble, Gobble Freebie and Lesson Plans

Hey Friends....so first we will apologize for the delay in the Friday Freebie...this week we will call it the Sunday Monday Freebie!! Sometimes...technology and I don't get along well!
It is that time of the year when we start thinking about all the wonderful things we have to be thankful for! We are beautifully blessed with many things but we are grateful everyday that we have found Teachers Pay Teachers. We have met some amazing people through this experience and I think it's safe to say we have become better teachers through this process. We love creating meaningful products, that not only do we get to use in our classrooms, but get to share with many of you!
