INSTAGRAM, Giveaway and extended SALE!!!

So...we did it! We jumped on the INSTAGRAM bandwagon! Well...when we say we... we mean...2 of the 4 of us! It is just a matter of time till the other 2 come over to the Instagram side! :) It's so fun to connect with other teachers and see exactly what is going on in their rooms! Field Trip and FREEBIE!!!

 What a week!!! We are gearing up to begin our end of the year assessments in the next couple weeks. While we are working hard to make end of the year benchmark we created this dice game to help with NWF. We thought  we would give our blog friends a little freebie....hope you can use it!

We survived our end of the year field trip!:) Even though the weather was not great, the kids had a fun time and even learned a few new things! We visited a nearby state park and had the chance to explore different habitats. Our favorite was the cave, even though the water was a little high for us to get all the way in. It was fun to wear the hard hats! :)

We got to play in the stream with our little net to see what we could catch. It would have been perfect if it would have been about 20 degrees warmer! We love Missouri weather!

Whole Brain Conference and Teachers for Boston!!

Hey...we hope you are having a great week!!! We just wanted to let you know that we are teaming up with our friend Michalea at The Center Based Classroom to help the victims of the Boston bombing!

Also...we have decided to go to the summer Whole Brain Teaching conference in Louisiana. We are really interested in learning more about this and can't wait to spend 3 days gathering information to take back to the classroom! Yes...it is during the summer...crazy we know! Author's Night!

We love this time of the year...the sun is shining, flowers are starting to bloom and the end of the year is in sight! This past week we celebrated our students' wonderful writing at Author's Night! It was a fun evening filled with family and reading! The kids worked hard all year learning how to write stories and  they finally had the chance to share with their families! 

We love reading to our families! 

After they read to their families they would read to at least 4 other parents! Each time they read , the person they read to would write down a positive comment!

We also enjoyed a little shaving cream fun this week! What a fun way to practice sight words! :)
